BOTOX, DYSPORT and XEOMIN

Why Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are all neurotoxins that block certain chemical signals that cause muscles to contract. As a result, it temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet lines, and forehead lines in adults to help them look visibly smoother.

Neurotoxin injections also have been FDA approved to treat excessive sweating. In the skin, a neurotoxin selectively turns off the sweat glands resulting in a normal appearance without perspiration.

Botox has been approved by the FDA to treat chronic headaches in adults. The research shows that Botox can be effective in prevention of migraines, which are debilitating headaches that cause intense pulsing or throbbing pain and affect about 12% of Americans.

Neurotoxins can be used to relax a certain facial muscles to decrease their size and achieve a slimmer or softer look.

It's important to space out your treatments at least 90 days apart. Since dosing effects are temporary, you need to be consistent with scheduling your next assessment.
